When we use Social Media.

Social earns its place when it does one of these:

Warm up people who already know you: Someone has clicked a Google Ad, read a service page or looked at your stock. Social keeps you in front of them, so they come back and enquire.

Fill a local pipeline: For renewables, trades and even dealerships, paid social can put the right message in front of the right households or interests in a defined area. That is useful when search volume is low, but demand still exists.

Show the work: A lot of what you sell is trust. Installs, tidy jobs, good cars and bikes, real projects. Whatever it may be, social is the fastest way to show that.

Push launches and one-offs: New stock, a seasonal offer, a new service area, an event, social gets eyes on it quickly.

If none of that applies, and paid media, SEO or email will get you there faster, we will say that and start there instead.

Paid first, organic when it helps.

Most of the time, the first move is paid social on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or even TikTok, because we can test audiences, creative and locations quickly and see what actually works. Budgets start small and move into the ad sets that are bringing in leads or traffic.

For some clients, we also keep organic tidy so their channels don’t look abandoned. That might be posting installs, new stock, testimonials or service reminders, so everything looks consistent with the rest of their marketing activity. It’s there to take a job off their plate, not to chase vanity metrics.

Because social is there to support your marketing, not be the whole thing, there are a few things we don’t take on…

  • We don’t sell “30 posts a month” social packages.

  • We don’t chase followers for the sake of it.

  • We don’t pretend social will fix a bad offer or a slow website.

  • We don’t take on social-only retainers where no wider marketing is in play.
