About Alex Humphries
Want to know more about our Founder?
Alex Humphries was born and raised in Oxfordshire before making the move to West Yorkshire in 2011 to study BA(Hons) Broadcast Journalism at the University of Huddersfield. While at university, he became heavily involved with the student radio station, Radio Hud, presenting and producing numerous shows and clocking up hundreds of hours on air. In his final year, he was elected Station Manager - becoming the last ever person to hold the role through a university-wide student election.
After graduating in 2014, Alex joined Independent Content Services, working on content projects for some of the biggest names in the iGaming and sports sectors, including Bet365, Betfair and Cheltenham Radio. From there, he went on to hold senior marketing positions at leading home interiors brands such as Luxury Flooring and The Floorstore Group.
Agency Life & The Beginnings of Agilita Digital
Alex has also spent time agency-side, working with respected names like Blueclaw, My Social Agency and Kariba. Across these roles, he’s delivered successful digital marketing campaigns for clients including Coral, MobilePhonesDirect, TUI, Hunters Estate Agents, global recruiter Robert Half, Gauntlet Group, Sagars365, and UK Gutter Maintenance.
Before founding Agilita Digital, Alex worked for Luscombe’s Leeds - one of the UK’s top Suzuki and MG dealers - overseeing digital marketing operations across multiple platforms.
Often described as a true all-rounder in digital marketing, Alex has a particular passion for SEO, Paid Media, and Content. His focus has always been on delivering agile, transparent and measurable results for clients - especially small businesses and start-ups looking to grow without the fluff.
Away from the desk…
Away from work, Alex is a passionate photographer and lifelong motorsport fan - particularly when it comes to motorcycle racing. His earliest memory was standing in the Suzuki hospitality at Brands Hatch at the age of five…but cheering on the Cadbury’s Boost Yamaha machines! Over the past few years, he’s worked with teams in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, including two seasons with Hawk Racing, where he managed their social media, wrote press releases, and even designed sponsorship brochures.
He’s also a dedicated movie buff, always up for a good film recommendation (or debate), and enjoys exploring new places with a camera in hand, a decent (decaff) coffee nearby, and his eye on the next project.
